SPIKE TK 404 with Cab is a compact 40 hp four-wheel-drive tractor designed for a wide range of agricultural, municipal, and general-purpose tasks. The model combines excellent maneuverability, a functional hydraulic system, a shuttle transmission, and a comfortable cab, making it suitable for everyday year-round operation.

The tractor is equipped with a 4-cylinder YTO YND490T engine rated at 29.4 kW (40 hp). A dry-type cartridge air filter ensures efficient filtration of the air entering the engine. The 65 L fuel tank allows for longer operating periods without frequent refueling stops.

Transmission and Drive

The 8F+8R shuttle transmission provides 8 forward and 8 reverse gears, allowing the operator to select the appropriate speed for different types of work. The shuttle mechanism makes changing direction easier and is especially convenient when maneuvering or working with implements.

The tractor features 4×4 four-wheel drive and a differential lock, providing improved traction and reliable performance on challenging terrain.

The 9-inch dual-disc, dual-stage clutch allows separate control of tractor movement and PTO operation.

PTO

The power take-off offers two operating speeds — 540 and 1000 rpm — with a standard 6-spline shaft. This allows the tractor to work with a wide range of agricultural and municipal implements.

Hydraulic System and Three-Point Hitch

The SPIKE TK 404 is equipped with a three-point hitch with Euro-style lift arms and an additional rear-mounted hitch control lever located behind the cab.

The hydraulic pump delivers a flow rate of 40 L/min, while the hydraulic oil tank has a capacity of 12 L.

The tractor features three hydraulic outlets, one of which is used to control the hitch and supports a float mode, position lock function, and forced lowering.

Steering and Maneuverability

The tractor is equipped with hydraulic power steering. The steering column is tilt-adjustable, allowing the operator to set a comfortable working position.

The minimum turning radius is 4.5 m, making the tractor convenient for working in confined areas.

Comfortable Cab

The cab is mounted on rubber vibration isolators, helping to reduce vibration during operation. Thermal and sound insulation is provided between the engine and the cab.

For comfortable operation in warm weather, the tractor is equipped with air conditioning. The cab roof also features a hatch, while a sunshade protects the operator from direct sunlight.

Wheels and Counterweights

The front tires are 7.5-16, while the rear tires are 11.2-28. For improved traction and stability, the tractor is equipped with front counterweights with a total weight of 60 kg and rear counterweights with a total weight of 60 kg.

Front plastic fenders help protect the tractor from dirt and damage during operation.

Air Compressor

The tractor is equipped with an air compressor with a pneumatic outlet for trailer brakes. A hose can also be connected for blowing dust and cleaning the cab.
