SPIKE TK 404 without cab is a compact and maneuverable 40 HP four-wheel-drive tractor designed for a wide range of agricultural, gardening, and general-purpose tasks. The open operator station provides easy access to the controls and excellent all-around visibility, which is especially useful when working in confined areas.

The tractor is powered by a 4-cylinder YTO YND490T engine delivering 29.4 kW (40 HP). A dry-type cartridge air filter provides efficient engine air filtration. The 65 L fuel tank allows extended operation without frequent refueling.

Transmission and Drive

The 8F+8R transmission with reverse provides 8 forward and 8 reverse gears, allowing the operator to select the appropriate speed for different tasks. The reverse function enables quick and convenient changes of direction.

The tractor is equipped with a 9-inch dual-disc, dual-action clutch.

4×4 four-wheel drive and differential lock provide improved traction and stable performance on soil and challenging terrain.

PTO

The power take-off operates at two speeds — 540 and 1000 rpm — and features a standard 6-spline shaft. This provides compatibility with a wide range of agricultural and utility implements.

Hydraulic System and Three-Point Linkage

The SPIKE TK 404 is equipped with a three-point linkage with Euro-style quick couplers and an additional linkage control lever.

The hydraulic pump provides a flow rate of 40 L/min, while the hydraulic tank capacity is 12 L.

The hydraulic system has 3 hydraulic outlets. One is used to control the linkage and supports float mode, selected-position locking, and forced lowering.

Steering and Maneuverability

The tractor features hydraulic power steering, making operation and maneuvering easier. The steering column tilt can be adjusted to suit the operator.

The minimum turning radius is 4.5 m, making the tractor suitable for small fields, orchards, greenhouses, farms, and other areas where space is limited.

Wheels and Ballast

The front tire size is 7.5-16, while the rear tire size is 11.2-28.

For improved balance and traction, the tractor is equipped with 60 kg of front ballast and 60 kg of rear ballast.

The tractor also features practical plastic front fenders.

Open Operator Station

The cabless design makes the tractor more compact and provides the operator with excellent visibility of the working area. This configuration is particularly convenient for frequent maneuvering, working between rows, in orchards, and on smaller plots.
