The L. Pohoriliy Ukrainian Research Institute of Industrial Technology and Agro Kar will be the first in Ukraine to test a tractor engine on a state-of-the-art stand.

On September 16, the L. Pohorily Ukrainian Research and Development Institute will host a presentation of the Taylor Dynamometer (USA) high-tech stand - the first complex in Ukraine that allows for independent and high-precision testing of tractor engines in accordance with international standards.

The first equipment to be tested on the new stand will be the Ukrainian SPIKE TK1054 tractor manufactured by Agro Kar (Kropyvnytskyi).

The Institute's specialists will show in real time how the modern test stand determines: engine power and torque, fuel consumption, level of harmful emissions, operating temperature modes, engine characteristics under various loads.

The appearance of this equipment was made possible thanks to the participation of the L. Pohorily Ukrainian Research and Development Institute in the Grant Program for Assistance to Scientific Institutions of Ukraine in the Agricultural Sector, which is being implemented with the support of the Government and People of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency "JICA" (JICA Ukraine Office) in 2025.
